Progress on Achievements
I've decided to start writing short devlogs to cover my progress with A Good Day to Pie's next update and keep things interesting here on itch.
This devlog is all about my progress with achievements. The goal of achievements in AGDTP is to provide the player with a secondary form of progression or to simply guide them through the game. I'd like my achievements to be meaningful and give meaningful rewards. Right now, the only thing achievements can give you is maximum turret capacity ( a new mechanic to be discovered in the next update) and new crafting recipes. They may completely replace recipe unlocks due to how easy it is to set up new achievements. We'll see.
Today I finished adding some juicy achievement notifications. Right now the few achievements I've actually added to the game are experimental and might not make it to the final game.
